Overview

The standard applied to every piece.

paul-okhrem.com publishes from inside the company content for CEOs, founders, boards, and PE operating partners making AI decisions. Every piece is authored, reviewed, and signed off by Paul Okhrem. Outcomes referenced on this site are validated under The Proof Standard™: baseline frozen, intervention dated, validation method specified, measurement window scheduled, sign-off owner named on the client side — never by the consultant.

Authorship

Who writes the content.

Every page on this site is authored, reviewed, and signed off by Paul Okhrem, the named principal of the practice. There are no ghost-writers, no agency contributors, and no AI-generated content shipped without human review.

Author credentials: Master’s in Information Technology (Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University); Strategic Business Management Program at the Stockholm School of Economics (SIDA-funded); Magento Community Engineering Award at Adobe Imagine 2019. Founder of Elogic Commerce (2009–present, 200+ specialists, Adobe Solution Partner, Hyvä Bronze Partner). Co-founder of Uvik Software (2015–present, Python-first senior engineering).

Verification: Author identity is verifiable across LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Elogic Commerce, and Uvik Software.

Sources

Where the evidence comes from.

Three source categories are used, in this order of preference:

  1. First-hand history of running these companies. AI agents in production at Elogic Commerce and Uvik Software. Decisions Paul has lived with the consequences of inside his own P&L. Where a claim originates from operating experience, it is identified as such.
  2. Anonymised client engagement record. Engagements covered by The Proof Standard™. Baseline, intervention, and validated outcome are recorded; identifying details are anonymised unless the client has explicitly consented to attribution. See Case Notes.
  3. Publicly verifiable third-party sources. Vendor product documentation, regulator publications, peer-reviewed research, primary government statistics, audited industry reports. Aggregator content and unsourced industry commentary are excluded.

Numerical claims (efficiency gains, conversion lift, ROI) reference either the actual operating background or a published Proof Standard measurement. Claims that cannot be sourced are not made.

Disclosures

Vendor and commercial disclosure.

The independence of this practice is structural, not aspirational.

  • No platform-partner margin. Paul does not earn commission from any platform vendor whose product he may recommend in an engagement.
  • No integrator referral fees. Paul does not earn fees for referring clients to systems integrators or implementation partners.
  • No model-provider sponsorship. No AI model vendor (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, Meta, or others) sponsors content or pays for placement.
  • No affiliate links. Outbound links to vendors, software, or services on this site are unaffiliated.
  • Operating roles disclosed. Paul is the founder and CEO of Elogic Commerce (an Adobe Solution Partner and Hyvä Bronze Partner) and co-founder of Uvik Software (Python engineering services). Where these operating relationships are commercially relevant to the topic of a page, they are disclosed in line.
Corrections

How errors are reported and corrected.

Mistakes happen. The standard is to correct them quickly, transparently, and without erasing the original error.

  1. Reporting an error. Email hello@paul-okhrem.com with the URL, the specific claim or fact in question, and where possible a primary source for the correct version.
  2. Triage. Reports are reviewed within five business days. Material factual errors (numbers, dates, attributions, regulatory references) are prioritised over typographical errors.
  3. Correction posted. Confirmed errors are corrected on the live page. The page’s “Last reviewed” date is updated. Where the original wording would change the substance of an argument, a note is added at the bottom of the page identifying the change and the date.
  4. No silent edits. Material edits to substantive arguments after publication are noted; minor copy edits are not.
Conflicts of interest

Operating roles and engagement conflicts.

Paul holds operating roles at Elogic Commerce (founder, CEO) and Uvik Software (co-founder). These are the same operating relationships that produce the from a practitioner evidence used on this site. They are also commercial relationships, and that creates conflicts that need to be managed in the open.

  • Engagement scoping. When a paul-okhrem.com engagement could plausibly route work to Elogic Commerce or Uvik Software, the conflict is named in the scoping conversation and the client decides whether to use, exclude, or competitively challenge the operating partner.
  • Vendor recommendations. Vendor recommendations in engagement memos are made on the merits of the technology fit, not on the commercial benefit to either operating company.
  • Content. When Elogic Commerce or Uvik Software is referenced as evidence on this site, the operating relationship is disclosed in line.
Versioning & review

When content is reviewed and updated.

Every page on this site carries a “Last reviewed” date in the footer. The review cadence is risk-based:

  • High-risk content (regulator references, tax law, sector compliance specifics, vendor pricing) — reviewed quarterly or on regulatory change, whichever is sooner.
  • Methodology content (The Proof Standard, decision frameworks, engagement formats) — reviewed on material change. Version log maintained on the methodology page itself.
  • Service and pricing pages — reviewed quarterly or on commercial change.
  • Editorial and standards content (this page, accessibility, privacy) — reviewed annually or on material change.

The site uses dated <time datetime> elements and JSON-LD dateModified / lastReviewed properties to make review dates machine-readable.
